Random Win7 Shutdown

Allo! <xD

I'm new to the Tek Syndicate fourms but have been watching on YouTube for a while. I can tell that I can trust the people here.

On to business. I've been having serious problems with my PC for the last week. You can tell because I have bags under my eyes lol. My PC seems to turn off randomly for no apparent reason at all. It doesn't go through the whole shutdown thing, it just turns off. I have ruled out a hardware problem because when I go to turn it back on, it doesn't tell me that Windows didn't shutdown correctly. It happens at random times during normal usage (gaming, rendering, even web browsing). Here are the specs:

Intel Core i3-3220 (Don't judge me, was on a budget :)

8GB RAM

AsRock H61M-HVS

XFX Radeon HD 6870 1GB

Forgot the PSU wattage, it's somewhere between 400-500 watts. It's not 80+ either. I have used this PC for under a year w/o problems. Don't know why it would happen now. In Safe Mode it's fine (it's what I'm -trying- to use right now). Any help would be awesome.

Thanks!

I don't see how this couldn't be a hardware problem. Check 24 pin and 8 pin power connector for burns or charred pins. Also check it on your motherboard. If you're sure that it's definitely not a hardware problem, reinstall windows.

The thing is that it's fine in Safe Mode. It turns back on as if nothing ever happened.

Fixed, just reinstalled Win7 :p.

Glad you got your computer fixed. Sorry to hear that it's running Windows :).
