Little pricey for what it is. To me, it is a glammed up oldschool chasis.
Based PGA. Can't wait.
really??
Is not a PGA socket? But can't wait? Yes.
sorry i thought you meant Programmable Gate Array
I would always make the F distinction with FPGA.
The basics of that makes my head hurt. I got confused about whether or not that was intel cheapo mb or amd without vrm heatsinks. Any noticed the socket orientation is different. Instead of the standard up and down.
Not sure about the first half. But yeah the socket us turned but the cooler mounting brackets are not or are they. Can't remember removed them for a Noctua with its own better mounting.
Appears to be the standard old amd mounting. With my noctua D14 i can't remember what is under it.
amd wants you to keep your old cooler
thanks for saving me money amd
It will have a pin-count of 1,331 pins, a big increase from the 942 pins of AM3+, and 906 pins of FM2+. AMD could continue to develop LGA sockets for its multi-socket capable Opteron processors based on the "Zen" architecture.

I Forsee my D14 mounted on Zen :) Not like it is going to work any harder than it is now.
Me too. Shoot off a mail to noctua and they will hook you up with the mounting if it has changed.
after looking at it, it's basically a drawer lol
You change the title of every thread you've ever made I swear.
Just recommended that board to someone yesterday in a thread on the forums. Looks like they're gonna get it too, it's a kickass board.
