That's fucking beautiful.
work of art
I can't imagine plugging that in
Update: They smashed 2 million.
$2,135,461 at the time of this post. That's freaking 213.5461% funded...
That thing is so over designed and nuts that my bellend just grew a beard.
That's just painful.
It's like looking at a picture of someone being kicked in the balls.
@Fouquin
What the hell happened there!? Pretty sure that is an AMD chip.
Also comes with a nice pile of troubles. The CPU (4770K) that you see in my pictures fried out not too long afterwards, we aren't sure why, but during a OCing session or something, it went kaput.
@VXAce
That is a Phenom II 965 BE that a friend of mine tried to de-lid. He said he was upgrading anyway (at the time to an FX-8120). I just wish he'd given me that chip instead of destroying it...
Haha... well, I'll assume it was educational. But one hell of a waste.
rad, so cheap too!
Thermaltake Core X9 or something, innit?
I want one of these in grey but I don't have the watercooling kit to justify it, or the money to get any.
Poor people problems.
Haahaa! :-) Is that PPGA and FCPGA?
PPGA/FCPGA to SEPP adapter for Slot 1. Gave life to the old Slot 1 boards after Intel abandoned the format.
Edit: I need to get one of the Socket 8 to Slot 1 adapters so I can play around with all these damn Pentium Pros that I have.
Those CA810s were fun to play with. I did a PPGA to FCPGA socket mod on an old Dell once to reproduce it. Good times.
