Rampage III gene bios lags

i have a rampage III gene (socket 1366) and one day after i powered off my computer, my bios got all messed up. as soon as i press the power button the republic of gamers logo pops up and stays there for like 30 or 40 seconds. the whole bootup process takes about 3 or 4 minutes. i have tried flashing the bios but it did not help. if i actually try to go into bios setup i have to hit the arrow keys 3 or four times before it will actually register

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU         950  @ 3.07GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.7GHz

ultra 550w psu

6GB gskill ram 

i had the cpu overclocked to 3.7 ghz and everything worked perfectly, but even after removing the overclock and resetting the bios it still lags

i was plannng to replace that really soon it was supposed to be temporary but do you think thats what would cause that problem ?

If you have fully loaded bios defaults and CLR CMOS ( via button on the back ) then it should not be related to the bios. There is a possibility you could have a corrupted rom but if the flash completed successfully I do not think this is the case.

I would recommend removing your dimms and just testing with 1 dimm to see if you have the same issue. Additionally it could be PSU related. There will be no way for you to test that theory though without another PSU.
