Ok i have 4gb ram and i want to upgrade to 8gb ( the best ram possible for my motherboard )
i have a M68MT-S2 motherboard
any tips on what to get? best speed?
the motherboard page says it supports +1333, whatever that means, anyway you can just increase you FSB and Decrease mulitipliers to get faster ram

go into bios set the memory to the highest setting
if 1866 then yay, that's it besides changing timings
if 1600, change FSB to 233, lower you HTT and NB multiplier to 9, and lower your CPU multiplier to somthing close to stock, so you don't have to change voltages
Example if your stock multiplier is 16x200=3200 then you want to do 14x233=3262
if the max is 1333 then change the FSB to 250, HTT and NB to 8 and lower your CPU multiplier to somthing close to stock, so you don't have to change voltages
Example if your stock is 16x200=3200 then 13*250=3250
and change your timings to 8-8-8-24
