RAM Question

I've recently noticed that the RAM I have advertises 1866MHz, although when I look in my BIOS, it says it's running at 1600MHz.Should I change it to 1866MHz? Or is there a proper way to do it (I would assume you just click on the RAM frequency and click 1866MHz), like would I have to change voltage?

Thanks in advance. This helps as I'm fairly new to overclocking.

P.S. I have G.Skill Sniper F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR

1600 is the default setting. You can find a setting in the BIOS which will allow you to enable an XMP profile. Do that, and the RAM will run at specified settings.
