I had a system with a xfx 680i lt,running pc8500 ram,but my mobo had set it at pc6400 ram speeds, and i ended up setting the ram to it's stock settings and it was not really noticable difference for me,it may be different to you and others,at most i gain 1-2fps,now when i went from that system(q9450 4gb of 1066mhz ddr2,gtx460 se) to getting a new mobo, cpu, and ram to start out building my new rig(FX-8150,8gb of ddr3 1600mhz)but using the same video card,i doubled my fps in some games(like dirt 3),so in that case my 460 was bottlenecked.
But like i said for the little bit is speed differance i might not be very noticable.
Are these the correct settings for my ram?

And why are the JEDEC #1 and JDEC #2 different in timings?
Yes those are the correct settings for your ram,it does say 400mhz but you have to double the DRAM Frequency to get your ram speed,so your ram is 800mhz.
Also i think the reason those are different is JDEC #2 is you full speed, and JEDEC #1 is the speed you pc lowers the ram to while you arn't doning much and it is trying to save power, you cpu does the same thing, like right now on my 3.6ghz FX-8150 is only runing at 1.4ghz while i am typing this so it can save on power usage, but as soon as i start doing something that takes more power the cpu&ram will jump back up to full speed(others correct me if i am wrong).
