Hey guys,
I have recently built my first pc and have been having an issue with it. Often my computer will crash giving me the blue screen, and will tell me that it thinks there is a problem with my ram. After dunning the windows RAM test it shows that I have no problems with my ram. This will happen about 3 - 5 times a day and I am sure that there is a problem. I have already replaced my ram before this because the same problem was happening only the computer could barely go 2 - 3 minutes before crashing. Is this a problem with my ram again or is it somthing else?
My specs are
Mobo: Asus z87 deluxe
Cpu: Intel i5 4670k
Gpu: Evga GTX 770 superclocked w/ACX cooler
Psu: Corsair TX750M
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16gb
Thanks for any help!

Run memtest64
If it passes, it isnt your memory. It could e your hard drive at that point, I would suggest running a HDD stress test.
ok thanks I will try that.
I would suggest its a issue with 1 of 3 things.
#1 the RAM and motherboard dont like each other, whats the exact model of the RAM?
#2 the HD is failing.
#3 (my personal favorite) the OS is actually corrupt, or driver issues.
But lets start at the top of the list, what is the exact model of the RAM?
By the exact model of the ram you mean the name it is Corsair Vengeance 16gb(2 x 8) DDR3 12800 1600MHZ. If you mean the serial number it is CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10.

That stick of RAM needs specific timings. go into your BIOS and make sure they are set to this motherboards specs. When you check that out let me know.
