How do i overclock my ram using AMD overdrive? Can anyone do a video on it?
you dont...do it in BIOs like a real man
Got ya. But i need a how to video on how to do it properly
are you trying to increase the frequency or tighten the timings?
Here bro, I made a video for you.

Increase the frequncy, I'm running an Asus M4a77D Motherboard
well I dont have a camera atm, so you might need a watch with millitary time depending on how high you want to go
and i don't have a working watch

i overclocked my watch to make it overclock ram faster, oh, also... get one with a second display, its more exact.
Wait I tried overclocking my wireless mouse but it exploded Blooddrunk :/????
Please make a tut. video that shows how to overclock a wireless mouse

do you have a wall clock? you will be limited to 1200 mhz, but the process is almost identical.
ahaaaa!! I found exactly what you need
http://www.officeclocks.com/24_Hour_Clocks.html
That shit can get your RAM up to 2400MHz

ah yes..Overclocking wireless mice can be tricky due to heat. After you re-assemble it I would suggest placing the mouse and clock in the freezer while overclocking. Either that or bathe the entire mouse in thermal compound

I do have a digital clock up in my room. I want to get up to 1066 Mhz from 800Mhz
oh well fuck the wall clocks, for that kind of extreme shit your going to need to use a microwave.
First wrap it in aluminum foil to prevent it from radiating
second; your going to have to settle for either 1100 or 1059, but you dont really have any options seeing as a wall clock is far to likely to spontaniously combust
third set it to the preffered time and start the microwave
good luck!
Don't mind the trolls skullabyss...
Tell me what kind of pc you have, motherboard, cpu and ram, and I'll gladly help
skullabyss, let me see what i can do about making a video... can you tell me what motherboard you have and such?
Also, I am quite pissed that there was trolling. This is not GameRiot. I will destroy people. When a new member shows up and asks a question either help or GTFO. Everyone has been warned... I will take action if anything continues.
I don't reccomend software overclocking.. always end up with some sort of problems, and it doesn't always synch with bios settings, so it changes everytime you boot.
As for the actual clocking, I don't know enough about clocking on AMD platform, but BIOS is the way to go. Shouldnt be very hard,
its generally better to over clock in bios, there are two ways you can overclock ram set it to higher spd, or increase the cpu frequency which will overclock both the cpu and the ram, changing the multiplier will only overclock the cpu, keep in mind you have to have the right timings (and voltages), that's about all the information I can give you, I wouldn't screw with the voltages (or timings) until you really understand how it works and have someone who knows what they're doing tell you or else you might blow something(s) up, but don't let that discourage you, there are plenty of people that can help you on here that are much more knowledgeable on here than me
This was ridiculous guys.
I'm not too great with AMD CPU's, but BIOS is the way to go. I could turn on my Phenom PC for the first time in months and play around with RAM frequency. Maybe record it. I'll see if I have time, hahahaha.
Off the top of my head, I know that if you're going to increase frequency, you'll have to increase the voltage, and timings as well. I'm pretty sure there's just a CPU to RAM frequency ratio you can adjust for rough overclocking. Obviously if you increase your Reference Clock on the CPU, the RAM will increase based on the ratio.
Sorry for that part of the community have a stick up its collective ass.

The board i have is the ASUS M4A77D. I'm running 4gb (2X2)PQI Turbo DDR2 Memory Kit. I do have heat spreaders on then which might help in getting to to the highest stable clock. I want to up the Frequency and tighten the latency along side
