RAM: Lower Latency or Higher Frequency

Hello,

 I have an AMD1090T at 3.7GHz ( would go more but the H80 is crap )

Now is it better for the RAM to have a higher frequency or lower latency? Ive 8gb (4x2gb) of Kingston HyperX Blue and usually it runs at 1600mhz cl9.

But ive managed to get it  at CL6 but at 930MHz. 

Which is better for gaming and video rendering and allthat good stuff?

Well, Logan said they will make a video just about that, but as far as i understood higher speed=gaming, lower cast latency= video editing, 3d rendering...
