I bought 2x4gb of 2133 ram for my computer and my motherboard sets it to 1600, when I set it to the 2133 profile it causes my computer to blue screen. I've checked that they are in the right slots and I checked that my motherboard is capable of 2133 ram. I'm running an APU build, so having the higher frequency would really be helpful. What can I do?
Double check that the CPU/APU also has official support for that speed, since the memory controller is inside the chip. If it does, a slight nudge of the RAM voltage upwards could help.
It seems anything over 1866 on AMD needs an OC. I'd give it a slight voltage tweak like mkk said and see what happens.
