RAM issue

Hi everyone on Tek Syndicate,

I had a question about my RAM. I overclocked my CPU in the BIOS to 4.37 GHz, and now my RAM runs at 920 mhz? RAM profile is set to 1600 mhz CL 9-9-9-24, but for some reason it keeps saying DRAM Frequency = 460 mhz. Motherboard is an Asrock 970 Extreme3 R2.0.

Thanks.

(and don't worry, a second RAM stick will be installed very soon.)

Your ram is automatically changed for sistem stability when you oc if i rember rigth on that mobo you need to set the ram to manual instead of automatic

I can only set the CPU configuration to Manual. Tried that, didn't work.

did you  set the ram voltage to 1.5 V ?

Ja, staat altijd op 1.5V. Raar genoeg gebeurd het alleen als ik mijn CPU mode op overclock zet ipv Auto.

Were you overclocking with multipliers or NB?

Set your ram speed/timings/voltage yourself.

could this maybe be an VRM limitation?

maybe i say something stupid uphere..
