Ram issue bsod?

Soo my system keeps blue screening and it said it had a ram problem. So now I'm trying to install a new version of windows. And it won't even do that. It says required files are missing. But if it was a ram problem. Would I even be able to enter bios or load up the windows install disk? It's been fine for a few hours I left it here to install windows. Came back and it was on the error screen. Any sugestions?

Can you RMA the ram? Most companies warranty ram for a long time.

I know Crucial is for life and no receipt needed.

Corsair is for life also

Memtest86 or even the microsoft memory tester. Either way if it fails rma your ram and/or buy new stuff before installing the os again. If it doesnt fail (except in the case of some Geil ram of which can be cactus yet still pass for whatever reaseon) then you'll have to look further a field at what is causing the issue - motherboard, hdd, cpu etc.
