Ralink RT2860 Connectivity Issues

Hello again. I have just finished dealing with a lot of viruses and ad-aware issues on my sisters Acer Aspire Z1801 and am now running into connectivity issues with the "Ralink RT2860 WLAN" module. At first I thought it may have been one of the viruses or ad-aware that was interfering with one of the services, so just to be on the safe side I done a factory reinstall of Windows 7 x64. I installed the default driver that came with it, and no luck getting it to work. I then tried installing various other versions of the same driver and still got the same results... So I took it one step further and tried the "Ralink RT2860 WLAN" module in my laptop only to get the same results. Am I missing a driver component here, or is the module starting to fail?

Here are some links that may help identify the problem:

Thoughts???

Please can you expand on the issues that you are getting? This will help consider the options.

Sure, what do you need?

If the description of the problem I am facing is lacking substance -- someone please fill me in on what additional information I can offer to diagnose the problem and work towards a solution. Other than what I have already listed, I am not really to sure what else to list. Sorry.
