Raidmax PSU experiences?

I just ordered a 530w modular psu by Raidmax. Not 80+ certified unfortunately but for $24.99 i'm hoping it was a steal? This is for my 1st ever build which will include:

AMD FX-8350

7950 gpu

1 SSD

1 HDD

8gb DDR3

Liquid cooling since I plan to overclock.

Will this psu be sufficient?

Have not used one but you should have bought one that was 80 plus and form a bigger brand such as seasonic or corsair

Any psu that costs $25 is a danger to your computer, especially when you have power hungery parts that need good stable reliable power.

The psu is the one thing you shud never cheap out on.

Is this the one you are buying?? --> RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-530SS 530W

You get what you pay for. My dads Raidmax blew up.

Yes that's exactly the one.

Hope it doesn't blow up :/

Yeah i wouldn't use it...

Return it as soon as you get it. A PSU is never something to sacrifice quality on. Raidmax is horrible.

you just bought yourself a fire hazard

one of the ones I've handled I had to physically take apart and remove this plastic thing that was in the way of the fan blades, not to mention the Ripple that Kills your computer components

Well, definitely sending it back. Oh well. As far as the wattage though, 530 or so would be sufficient for this build?

I would be very careful with raidmax. Mine sparked after about 2 years time. Nearly fried my system, but it did boot backup, and i ordered a new PSU the next day with 2 day shipping. Raidmax are good for a backup PSU for later or for a basic system
