Raid 0 questions

I am looking to set up raid 0 on my computer. I have my primary hdd that has windows already installed on it and I have 2 10000 rpm drives that I want to add to my computer and put in raid 0. To clear that up, I only want the 10000 rpm drives in raid 0. Would it work if I just remove my primary drive and then set up raid 0 on the other 2 drives then put the primary back since I cant set up raid after windows is installed?

I really dont want to reinstall windows and I already have these drives laying around, so I just want to use them to put a few important origin and steam games on for faster load times.

Also, currently both of the 10000 rpm drives have nothing on them, I formatted them yesterday and are both in NTFS.

Another note, my motherboard does support raid but is AMD.

So, assuming all of that is there any way that I can set this up without removing windows?

If not, can I set it up through windows?(Ive read about "software raid" in windows and I have windows home professional 64 bit, do I even get this option with this version of windows?)

>Shouldnt really be an issue at all - do the raid setup in the bios - select those 10k drives in the raid setup. Consult your motherboard documentation for the step by step procedure in configuring it if you get lost.

>Software raid, linux - yes. Windows 8+ the facility called Storage Spaces seems to work rather well and is do darn easy to use & may be a viable option for you to look at.
