I still believe part or all of the problem is with Windows. Here is why, about 2 years ago when I was running Windows in a VM, Windows would restart just fine without lockup about 80% of the time. And then one day MS updated Windows and every reboot after would trigger a lockup. Because of this I associate the lockup problem with Windows.
Make what you will about this since it is only what I experienced.
You would be incorrect. Since I made that post I am now an active employee of AMD, and I can state without a doubt that it’s a hardware issue, not software.
If an update to windows caused it to become less stable, it’s just a coincidence.
