whats better? looking at some reviews (winch there is not many) and the 9800 GT seems to run better in Crysis, but I wanted to know from people that had (or has) one
also I was thinking of getting a 9800 GTX instead, my 9800 GT died so I was gonna take it back to bestbuy to get something else, what do you guys think? I I remember, MeGotRice uses a 9800 GT+ but I could just overclock the 9800 GTX to a GTX+
The GTX+ isnt just OC'd I belive its a smaller die size get the 9800GTX+ or wait for the GTS 250 or whatever its called.
9800gtx+ vs 3870? 9800gtx+ wins. 9800gt vs 3870? i would say the same but i would go with the 9800gt since the 3870 is slowly dieing
I cant really wait for the GTS 250 because I have a lan party on the 20th to go to, and my computer has to be in top shape lol, really it would help if I had anything under $200 but that is hard to do because I got to get it at bestbuy (that's where I am taking my card back, for in store exchange), so really anything under 200 at bestbuy
do you think my PSU could pull this 9800 GTX+

can they ship it here before friday? without paying like 50 dollars?
Go for the one Assass1nat0R said as its the new one that only needs one 6-pin PCI-E connector, instead of two
I can try, but if stupid bestbuy will only give me in store credit, I am F**ked
BestBuy, Worst Selection...start ordering your stuff online man. They got midrange stuff on sale pretty often. It's the high end guys that don't get cut any slack.

-.- I do, only for GPU's, and that is because I return them everytime I want a new one, and then add $$ to get something newer
under $200? my 4870 was under $200 and that's comparable to the gtx260.

Yes but they dont sell GTX 260's anymore... its all about the core 216, which beats the 512 version in every test and the 1GB version in most tests.
Get the GTX 260 Core 216 55nm
or the
4870 1GB
you will be happy no matter which you get even if you get the 512 version its still a really really good card.
indeed, the 4870 512mb version can still play anything great. if i kept my sli mobo, i definitely would've went with the 260.
a 9800+ or 4850 would be a good choice if your on a tight budget.
between the 3870 and 8800gt the 8800 is better.
really ordering online costs a lot less than bestbuys price. i mean you will probably get a normal 9800gtx for the price of a 4870 or 260 from a place like newegg.

Corrected lol, I take great pride in my GTX 260 CORE 216'S!
