I just installed the Crimson Driver on my Arch Linux machine (it was a fucking pain in the ass). However now that I've installed the driver Gnome and Cinnamon don't seem to work. I get a blackscreen while trying to login (oddly enough i3+gnome works). But what bugs me the most is that I don't have the software center. What's up with that?
have you tried xfce and kde? or older gnome non 3+
i assume they would rather release for kde than gnome.
KDE works fine and I'm going to be using it as my main de for now but I don't know about xfce. Though like I said, my major problem is the control center
did you see if its based on java? Hope its not...
maybe something messed up the wayland drivers? if your running wayland
