Radeon 7 discussion

CES Keynote was the day this thing had to work well enough to be shown, so the engineers had enough time to get something working.
Yes, they could have pushed out the launch date further into February. With current availability in Germany, they may aswell have done so.

Navi will have been in development since 2015/16 ish, maybe earlier.
Quick reminder at this point AMD has their teams leapfrogging each other, so team 1 and team 2 may not necessarily make the same mistakes (eg. Polaris never suffered any of these problems).

Looks like they fixed that. But it shouldnā€™t of happened in the first place.

Interesting that I did not see any mention of the ā€œauto tuneā€ buttons anywhere else, just complaints about overclocking not working.
The early bird was too early I guess?

The auto undervolt is something Iā€™m really looking forward to trying out.

Im eager too hear @wendell use of the dam card in creative works.

Things are real interesting with this pro driver stuff. Premiere is a joy to use

Wonder if switching driver would speed up that ProRender

Is it as simple as a few clicks to swap between Pro and Adrenalin/ gaming as rumored?

Is this still running on the 4.20 kernel?
