R9 Nano in June or wait?

Hey guys, I am looking at upgrading my video card soon for upcoming games. I have some concerns.

I am looking at getting the Nano as I might try and transition to ITX in the future and it seems like a great overall performer, but I am worried that I will just get boned in the end when new cards release later this year. Currently I have a GTX 480, so ANYTHING will be an upgrade. (Not that I am not sad at the performance, its still a great little card.) I am also rocking an i5 2500K at 4GHz on stock voltage (so I can go up) so I don't fear any bottleneck.

What would you guys do? Just want some opinions. Thanks!

That appears to be the case.

If you can get by now you can get by till the the summer/fall IMO

June would probably when they'll release the new polaris stuff so just wait until that's released and even if you don't find anything interesting there the nano will still be a damn fine card

New GPUs will be out by then

you could always get a case like the Elite 130 that supports longer GPUs.

Otherwise why don't you just upgrade to like a 380 4GB card now if you want something to hold you over? they're like 189

if i were you i would probably just wait for vega and not polaris.

Vega is probably the best choice. But that's almost one year ahead....

I am more curious about the amd xen motherboards. Now shut up and drink your black tooth grin.

Probably if their is a disturbance in the force from new cards, it could lower prices even further. The Nano falling to a lower 400USD would be probably the sweet spot for me.

Thanks for opinions guys! It will help keep me level headed.

I'd at least wait until the new cards launch in order to see what happens with the market. Used cards will be abundant as people upgrade and the current gen cards may drop a bit in price.

I heard that their is a new graphics card coming out in November. I hear it is called the Trump card.
