Stumbled on this occurring sale on Amazon and at that price, ~240$ with the rebate the price is on par with the 480's. It's just too bad I bought that exact card 2 weeks ago for about 350$ over here in Sweden, that stings a bit.
Err berr terr ferrderr darrerr. Nah. If they want to stop being over priced and be 200-215 then I would concider it. But 70 dollars is not a good enough price drop.
Ya, it is one of the best deals in class atm. Its a steal for 240 I paid twice that for mine last year :(
I picked one up for $260
Camelizer says it was as low as $208 new on Dec 8th. That would have been really great, but at $260 it seems pretty good still.
That said, I've been watching the Rx 480 list some crazy deals the last week or so, Going as low as about $160 ( 4GB GDDR5 model) and a few places in between with even the 8GB model right at $200 a time or two. All may not last past holiday sale buzz, but I don't know. Seems the 480 costs have been falling pretty nicely.
The fury is still a crazy fast card, pretty much perfect for 1080p 144Hz.
