r9 390 cx500

I am currently using an a8 7600, gtx 750 ti,corsair cx500w psu, 16gb ram, h80i, 250gb ssd, 2tb wd green, spec 01, I just bought the i5 4690k, (still need to buy a mobo) but after that i plan to buy an r9 390. will i need a new powersupply unit? reccomendations? i also would like to give overclocking a go with the i5.

I would recommend getting at least a quality 650W PSU. I suppose you could try to sell the A8 and 750 TI and get a PSU from that.

Would another CX power supply do the trick? recommendations>?

The EVGA GS 650W LINK has always been a good recommendation. I use it myself and have no problems what so ever.
If your budget doesn't allow it. At least pick up a CX600M that way your system will run comfortably. Do you plan to do some overclocking?
If so I would recommend the EVGA over the Corsair.

listen to this man... he is correct

that being said, check out seasonic psu's as well, you can occasionally catch a deal, and seasonic being an OEM you might catch a deal on a PSU that is just as good as a Corsair/EVGA unit.

managed to run a r9 290 xeon 1231v3 on a cx500 and it seemed fine. USE IT AS A TEMPORARY PSU GET ONE THAT IS BETTER AND HAS MORE WATTAGE

Ok cheers mate, yes a plan to overclock my gpu definetly cpu maybe, dont really know how, cause ive always had AMD, is it the same?. So should i get 750w?

If overclocking get a 750w to be safe

XFX PSUs are made by Seasonic and are pretty decently priced.
