So I'm looking for a new graphics cards since my 550 TI is showing its age. I have come down to the R9 280X and the 760 for gaming and mild video rendering.
I want to get the R9 280X since my CPU is the FX-8350 and for when Mantle rolls out. Then again I want the 760 since I've just had a better experiences with Nvidia cards. PLEASE HELP
well its hard to answer to be fair, id say get the 280x cos ive never had issues with AMD cards (its also arguably the better card) but if you feel unlucky with AMD cards get the 760 hehe.
get th r9 280x all the way, the toxic card with a decent enough overclock can get pretty close to a 780

gtx 760 < 7950 < 7970 < 280x
The 280x is the faster and much more complete solution

Garry, the price to performance ratio isn't very good on old cards and especially the 660TI. Anyways I have ordered the 280x and it'll be here in two weeks :D
Good choice. GTX 770 vs R9 280X is more comparable. 760 is slightly below a 670 even.
7950 ~ 760 speeds. 7970~R9 280X~770
