Alright, so the QX2710 is a great 1440p monitor, mainly because of its price, but also partly because that monitor is known to overclock decently well. I thought so too, so I bought one........ and it arrived DOA, frustrated, but understanding because it's so cheap relative to other 1440p monitors, I just returned it (to korea, ugh) and bought another one.
And wouldn't you know it, the second one arrived DOA as well. The company I purchased them from is doing alright handling the issue in the customer service department, which is nice, but I should have never had these problems with QC to begin with, considering I'm now 0/2.
So I'm curious, how many of you have bought or own a QX2710? Do you like it? Have any of you had any QC issues in the past?
I'm in no rush to get this monitor up (it's my 3rd side monitor for my personal computer setup), so I think I'll give it one more shot after returning this second monitor to see if I can get something that works, because the QX2710 does appeal to me.
(Also as a side note, the first one I bought that didn't work was the plain one with only DVI input, and the second one I bought was the True 10 Multi DP.)
I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts and comments. Am I just terribly unlucky? It seems like these korean companies would really want to check these things before they ship them since paying for return shipping is quite costly for them, I would imagine.
