It can be a bit finicky because the copy dialog tries to steal the context i think.
Tap a word you want to quote, youll get the quote box, tap it again, you should then get the little drag icons, expand it to what you want to quote and press quote
It just doesn't show up.
Simple tap don't do anything. Tap and hold marks the word and give me the markers and the quote button. Now it doesn't show me the quote button.
Just want to say, that other people have been quoting each other senseless since I've noticed the lack of quote button...
Hmm. I havent had this issue. However, like @Eden said, it can be quite finicky. What I usually see is that I can select a word and the discourse quote reply box will display, but then when I start dragging to select a sentence or additional content, it is removed and the chrome dialog takes over.
Usually when i select textbthe first time i will not get the quote reply button but by deselecting, tapping the screen, and selecting the text again i will get the option.
