A HyperX Fury - DDR3 1866Mhz CL10 Kit - 8GB should work with an G1840 right?
But it'l work on 1333Mhz instead of 1866Mhz right?
(with a Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3)
But no compatibility issues?

Yeah, it should, have you tried it yet?
no, that's why i ask :P don't want to make a mistake.
But i'll buy 1600 mem as the mobo won't support higher anyway and the person for wich i-am building most likely won't ever upgrade 2 things at the same time
So i 1 8Gb 1600 stick it is
The spec listed when you're shopping for RAM is the maximum warranty-covered speed. Meaning you can definitely run it at speeds below that per application. But yes, with this setup 1600Mhz CL9 is probably what would work best. Also, I understand leaving space open (and saving cost) by using one 8GB DIMM, but you probably want to occupy the 2nd channel by going 2 x 4GB.
The Intel Celeron G1840 supports DDR3 ram upto 1333mhz at 1.5V.
1866mhz ram should basicly work, however it will be downclocked to 1333mhz.
I would personaly recommend to pickup 1.5Volt dimm´s.
Be wary Hyper-X Fury memory does not use XMP, as far as I know it should down clock but it automatically attempts to run at its highest advertised speed out of the gate. You may have to down clock it manually in the bios.
There could be exemptions but most H81s don't support XMP memory profiles. It will probably clock down to 1333MHz and then you could clock it to 1600MHz. It probably will have the CL and voltage at its spec though.
Or you could check the motherboard's supported memory and not ever worry at all. Lol but Kingston pretty much will work on anything.
oh oh, yeah the speed would be okay, it would just down clock to the motherboards designated ram speed.
