Hi everyone! Quick question, I just build my first pc and im trying to download drivers from asus. I know I heard that you should basically download Chipset, Audio, LAN, USB and SATA. But some of these for my motherboard have a couple different versions. The sata one has 4! So am I suppose to download all things listed? For example the SATA one has a version for the asmedia sata controller but then right under it there is a different one for intel smart connect technology software. So do these different descripitons mean that I have to download both drivers instead of just say the asmedia sata controller one?

Yes( Do, anyway). For each once, download the newest. For instance, my Asus P8z77-v Deluxe has Intel sata ports, and then some Asmedia( I believe, may be another brand) so I download and install the newest Intel and the newest Asmedia version. So I have to download drivers for both. Hope this answers your question.
yes! thank you very much!
