So I just went through a guide overclocking my fx-8350 and got it to 4.7ghz. Before I always did some auto overclock crap. Anyways. So when I load up CPU-Z it always shows me running at 4.7ghz even though its not full load. Is there any benefit to this when you just doing normal desktop stuff? I turned on the cool and quite setting in my bios so it goes down when not needed. What do you guys think? Is that a good idea or should it always be at 4.7ghz?
from what ive heard turning off cool and quiet when overclocking is best for stable you can always hit it hard with adia64 stability test with on and off to see if theirs a difference
