I heard Logan talk about GOG a lot and I would like to have some questions on it. Games on GOG are DRM free which means I don't have to open up the client to play right? I also noticed that a lot of the games on GOG are old titles and a new Witcher 3. I have no interest on other 2 Witchers may be interested in the older star wars games.
Now the question is, will there be more titles in GOG? I have quite some games on Steam and I would love to support DRM free stuffs.
1) You are not required to install any clients or additional software etc... (just the game to play it)
2) There will be more and more titles. You can wishlist, games that are currently not on gog there's a community function where you can vote. (it doesn't mean they will be added, but gog team will try to get deal with the owner company)
Alright, I'm definitely buying Witcher 3. I hope new games are available in GOG too.
Some new games appear on GOG. Obviously CDPR's own stuff, then some indie games and games by more consumer friendly studios (Banished, Pillars of Eternity, Wasteland 2 etc.)
It's just that all the big publishers are rabid on DRM frenzy and couldn't imagine selling games without those systems. But to be fair, who would pay for Ubisoft games if you could just torrent the gog installer?
