Question about Skyrim HD textures with 'high' settings

So, two days ago I started playing Skyrim for the first time (had it in my Steam library since the last Winter Sale) and immediately used some mods (using the NMM). Pretty late, but better late than never.

I 'only' have a 260X and an i3-4130, getting 60fps most of the time (with v-sync enabled in ACC) on 'high'settings @1080p (AF x8, AA x8). I don't use ENB, FXAA is turned off too, but does it even make sense for me (with my setup) to use those graphics enhancing mods (texture packs, altering the weather effects, etc.)? Or should I use the vanilla textures but on 'very high' settings?

Skyrim Floral Overhaul - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/141/?
Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9080/? - Combined with the hi-res packs from Bethesda
Skyrim Enhanced SweetFX Settings - https://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/94/

Will change your Skyrim life. Don't even really need an ENB IMO.

260x is 2gb right? If it is some texture packs will work just fine even though it's not a ton of horsepower. Lighting and sweetfx is great to use as well I agree, it fixes a lot of the "do not cast light or shadows" flags on light sources.

Thanks! I'll check it out.

Yes, it's the Sapphire R7 260X 2GB OC. Unfortunately I was impatient when I built my PC and cheaped out on the GPU instead of using the iGPU for a while and getting a 270/X or 280/X :/

Full specs:

Just saw that the BIOS update set the RAM back to CL11, need to change that at the next reboot.

Current in-game settings (sorry for zhe German):

Also, I'm already using:

Pure Waters
Skyrim Flora Overhaul
Skyrim HD (Lite)
Climates of Tamriel
2K Road Snow Footprints
Alternative Rock and Mountains (4K, 2K, 1K and watery Rocks)
Enhanced Lights and FX
and some other mods that don't change the graphics
