Question about Ram for my motherboard

I'm building a gaming pc on a budget and this is the motherboard I have:

I'm looking to get 8gb of fast ram purely for gaming. I don't know if all ram is created equal or what type I need to get with this board, I'm assuming DDR3?

Can anyone help give me some options on what type of ram to get? I know newegg has sales a lot on ram.

you need DDR3 ram indeed, 1600 or 1866mhz is fast enough.

Of these two links you posted for Ram which is better than the other? What makes it better? Or will they both do the same thing?
