Question about RAM capabilities on pre-built PC

Hello all (i really didnt know where to put this). I have a pre-built PC in my hands other than the fact it lacks RAM and a HDD currently, but i plan on replacing those two items in the coming months. It has a APU so i wanted to know if anyone could tell me if the motherboard on this PC can support 1866mhz RAM.

Well, after some searching, I found the it on the asus website. (http://www.asus.com/Desktops/CM1745/specifications/) From there, I found out the chipset of the motherboard. Then referenced a list of all asus motherboards with that chipset until I found an asus motherboard with pcie lane speeds matching that of the computer on the asus website. I have determined from that, you have this motherboard in the computer: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/F2A85M_LE/specifications/

Meaning yes, you can use 1866mhz ram.

Wow, that's a lot of hoops to jump through in order to find ram compatibility.

Cool. I couldent for the life of me find it out.

Well looks like i will be picking up a HDD and 2x4 of 1866mhz ram
