say one were to mix a 7402 and a 7301 on the same board that supports either. how much smoke would come out if any?

I doubt you’d get any smoke, or a server that boots.

Best case, the BIOS tells you to reconsider life choices.

I know AMD was pretty open with their architecture but wasn’t sure about the server market.
