Question about Mionix Naos

So I've been wanting one of these forever. I took a trip this last weekend and ended up in a Microsoft Store where they happened to have a Naos 7000 for $55 (about the same price as Amazon) so I jumped on it.

I love the shape. It's gotta be the most comfortable mouse I've ever used, but I do have one issue. It's so damn slippery. It's so bad for me that I can't even lift it when I'm using a palm grip. I have to switch my grip to claw otherwise it just slips right out of my hand.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does it go away after the rubber is broken in?

I always keep my hands clean, so I don't know if it's just because they're not greasy at all or what, but I just can't seem to get any grip on the Naos.

It's kind of annoying because it's the only mouse I've ever used that has really felt like it fit my grip perfectly, but I can't even use it. Before that I was using the SteelSeries Rival as my palm mouse, but my hand would cramp up after a while because I don't like having my ring and pinky finger so close together. I love how the Naos is wider and cradles your fingers perfectly.

Just put some duct tape on it where you need to grip it

I've been using my naos 7000 for almost a year now. I got mine on massdrop.

My thumb and my pinky are the main fingers that I use to lift the mouse. Thumb right under the side button closer to the back of the mouse, and the pinky right under the ledge on the pinky rest. Sometimes the ring finger helps.

I have had no problems gripping it, especially not now. The rubber coating hasn't peeled or anything, but it's not as smooth as it used to be due to finger oils and such and seems to be a little bit grippier.

Alright, glad to know it will get better with time.
