Question about EMV cards and RFID

I have a Card That has EMV and RFID. I was going to disable the RFID part by breaking hidden chip and leaving the EMV alone. Problem is when looking at it with flashlight it looks like some of the leads go to the emv and the RFID looks different that the tutorial. This gives me 2 questions.

  1. Dose the EMV protect the RFID now?
  2. Dose killing the RFID break my EMV?

Hi...It depends upon the module you have. One can kill another also because some time they are integrated. So just share the specifications of your module i will try to answer based if i will find the configuration of it.
