Question about case fans

So i just bought my first case. its a Zalman Z11 plus (http://www.zalman.com/eng/product/Product_Read.php?Idx=476) and when it came in the mail i noticed that the fans appear to be backwards or at least what I would think is backwards. it appears as if the fan in the back and on the top will be bringin air in while the one in the front will be pushing air out. which makes no sense to me BUT i dont really know how to tell which direction the fan will be pushin/pulling air I thought i did but seing the fans set up this way made me reconsider.  id rather not set up the whole system just to pull it apart because i have to turn all the fans around.

I hope that made sense to everyone and someone can help me. basically I just wanted to know is how can i tell which direction is forward for the fan without pugging it into my Mobo if possible. thanks in advanced.

the "fanblade" side is the intake side

the frame side is the exhaust

..huh thats pretty much the opposite of what i thought it would be. I assumed the fan blade side would be pushing air out and the other side would be sucking it in.  thanks.

For future reference, there should be 2 small arrows on one of the sides of the fan which indicates the rotation and direction of air flow.
