Question about a storage solution

Bit of a long shot, but have you tried putting something under the case to absorb vibrations?

The vibrations are mainly the case itself. And partly my fault.
3-4 years ago I bought Fractal Design Arc Midi R2. I opened it, I added about a billion fans on it, I put the front panel back and I immediately cracked it. So now I have cracked front panel, that if I press a bit - the noise is gone. If I press it a bit harder - the panel’s crack open up and the panel starts to “swallow” the case.
Anyways, I believe it’s just resonance between the two HDDs I have.

So sounds like some super glue and duct tape is needed

Well, if I decide to mount the HDD cage where Fractal says, there most likely be no vibrations what so ever…
I have mounted it like that:

Mkay, it seems like WD MyCloud (that I may paint and call McCloud) works just fine even without constant Internet connection. That works just fine for me…
Now I can get 150€ dual bay diskless or 100€ single bay 2TB… IDK why I am leaning towards the diskless dual Bay in which to put my 1TB drive for now and later on get another drive…

If someone else is reading this thread, I found this dude is helping me understand the basics.

He also have reviews and stuff about … stuff…
