I was scheduled to work that day... the 6th... But i talked to my operations manager and we switched shifts.

I am actually going to be at school that day so hopefully my phone allows me to register... Or I can skip that day.
Going. I'm actually thinking about driving out in a camper and heading to KC for LAN Syndicate 2 after Quakecon. Going to go shoot a bunch of wild pigs between the two events if everything works out.
I'll be bringing a full load of hardware again. Once things get closer I'll post up a thread for anyone wanting a ride or hardware.
Looks like I'll be able to hit the Olympia expo in Vegas on the way back too. This is going to be a good summer vacation. Road trip across America to play games at two LANs, shoot things, and hit Vegas for an awesome expo.

Cool, it's not likely I'll make it for any actual gaming but I could maybe come out to hang in the area. I'm within 20-30 miles, which is closeby for round here.
Also that is dope, I haven't seen that completed vid yet; I did some of the sound recording for that in 2015.
Actually funny enough there is a campground right down the street from the hotel.
One more reason to hit the road in the Lounge Train.

Absolutely worth it, especially if a bunch of people from the forum are going. It's great getting to hang out with all the people you throw salt at everyday online.

Anyone here doing UAC or QDQ? If you are could you take screen shots of the seating chart so we can figure out where we can group up at. Ignore this if they reveal the seating chart early.
in past years, as soon as registration opened for the 1st round, everyone could see the seating map as long as you had a registered a username and password. Not buying a UAC or QDQ ticket, but I've got my eyes on it, don't worry ;)

Okies, here's the map! I have boxed in blue a spot suggestion that I think would work great. The BYOC room looks like it's going to be one big room shared with the Exibition hall. So it will be louder the closer you to to it. That said... Quakecon is just kinda loud anyway, so eh.
So the spot I've marked, it's far back from the exhibition hall, but also on the far left so you have less distance to walk back and fourth from your BYOC seat and... well anywhere else. If we decide to try and nab this spot, I would grab the outside edge seats on the left first, and work out way in. What do you guys think?

QDQ wasn't worth it AT ALL last year, just for the record. Sure I get jumped to nearly the front of the line, but then they made us wait forever because the network wasn't up. Big deal! They didn't let us set up our computers anyway so what difference would it have made to let us in earlier? Rant complete.
I'm cool with sitting wherever the group is, but just a suggestion, would it be a better idea to get a row closer to the NOC so that any of us that are in UAC would be close by? I remember Larrytek and his friend Brandon (along with DG and Dan but sadly they couldn't make it) doing that last year. I also just think it'd be cool having us tech junkies sitting right next to where all the tech porn is. :P
If I'm SUPER RIDICULOUSLY lucky and cards are played correctly my special lady and her daughter could be joining us. :)

Knowing that which I did not previously know, I'm all for quieter seating. I frequently get up to stretch my legs anyway. Tech porn and blood flow are a good combination for me. :P
