QNAP QXG-2G2T-I225 NIC Comes with 3 Brackets: What is the difference between the two smaller ones?

I just picked one of these up for use in an OPNSense build I’m doing, as OPNSense needs Intel NICs and that’s the chipset being used. QXG-2G2T-I225 | Flexible, fast, economical | QNAP (US)

I noticed it came out of the box with a short bracket on it that seemed to be a standard short bracket, but there’s an additional long bracket and a second short bracket in the box.

What’s the difference between the two short ones? I suspect the one that comes on it is some sort of QNAP specific version and I should have switched to the other short one before I stuck it in my Optiplex. It fits with the bracket it came with (that has an extra bend at the bottom), but it’s tight and awkward.

It looks like one is a PC-standard “L-shaped” low profile bracket where the other one is a QNap custom flat bracket, which I would guess fits a QNap chassis specifically.

Thank you! That’s exactly what I needed. I got paranoid I’d used the wrong one because it refused to go in with the RF coupler/shield thing that Dell includes with its Optiplex 5040.

I just can’t get it to fit–with this thing fit over the slots, there’s no room for the QNAP bracket’s bottom piece of slide in. (Somehow the other card I have in the system didn’t have that problem.) Hopefully I don’t run into RF issues or shorts.
