That said, the issues you’re having aren’t in qemu.
Is there a chance it reaches Fedora 30 release ? Looking at their roadmaps it seems it won’t but I’m not sure.

I believe there’s no time to test the stable qemu 4.0 release but can anyone clarify this ?
Probably not, but it might land shortly after release.
