[Q] Is this an alright widescreen monitor for the money? AOC 34in CU34G2X

I am looking at downsizing from my 4 monitor setup to a 2 monitor setup.
I was hoping to go a reasonable, budgetish 1440p ultrawide monitor.
I have a 4K 27 inch as my primary monitor at the moment and while it is good, its only 60Hz and it is hard to drive at any real framerate as it is. I got a good deal on it many moons ago so have just stuck with it.
I was probably going to use it as my second monitor for video/light linux tasks and start to game/multitask on an ultrawide instead of the 3 lower monitors I have been using for the last 5 or so years.

I was looking at the AOC 34in WQHD VA 144Hz FreeSync Curved Gaming Monitor (CU34G2X) which is approximately $580ish AUD (so probably half that in freedom bucks lol).
Has anyone used it or can recommend something that is reasonable and cheap?

I would check Hardware Unboxed. They do review allot of monitors of all price ranges. I believe Viewsonic has best low budget monitor for the money

alright ill take a look at viewsonic cheers

How is Amazon warehouse in Australia? I like my LG 34GP83A-B and at least on the US side of Amazon warehouse it looks like I can get it from 500 USD new to 200 USD used. It also looks like the price has become a very volatile (in a good way) lately and you should be able to snag a decent deal. This could also be because it’s not the newest model.

Amazon is pretty good here, being a prime member. In fact it has really taken over most of my purchases from eBay.

I ended up picking up a Viewsonic VX3418-2KPC-MHD for under $500 AUD from a local retail outlet not far from where I live so I’m happy. Its not the best thing in the world but I really like it. 144Hz, 34inch ultrawide… my 4k monitor is now doing video/coding duties on my NUC pc.
