In Oktober i decided to buy a new rig, started with a Threadripper 5975, Asus motherboard, Corsair H1500i power supply , 128 gig ram, RTX 3090TI gaming trio from msi, a month later i bought a 4090 going along with it, water cooled my rig and doing fine.
I was getting high temps from my 3090TI while rendering and i started to look in to it. came out that i didn’t secure the cooler enough and it was getting to hot. reinstalled the cooler and did fine, after a day the pc was starting to give me Qcode b2… after a restart or reset from one of my two powersupplies it started working again. after a couple restarts the pc was completly locked in b2, with just the 3090ti but it wont give me screenbut wont give me screen , with only the 4090 it works fine, but with them both installed i will get b2, since its a watercooled card swapping it to another pc is a bit of a hassle but since im that desperate to get it fixed ill might drain the loop and put the original cooler on it for trouble shooting.
i started trouble shooting a bit and reading on other subs, b2 is mostly bad news and people returning there cards.
i have an old workstation where i am going to test it in, hopefully i wont have to take my card to the bin
