I'v been playing System Shock 2 and I love the antagonist Shodan; while I was surfing youtube, I came across a Ghost In the Shell FPS game that's being made. So I Thought to myself: "If Ghost In The Shell and Shodan got in a fight to the death in a cyberpunk metropolis, who would win?".
Public Security Section 9 is a counter-terrorist network and anti-crime unit in cyberpunk Japan. They specialize in fighting hackers in cyberspace, and fighting terrorists in the physical world. Their special training helps them adapt to rapid changing situations, and are augmented with special cybernetics and cyborgs to help them combat the bad guys.
Shodan (Sentient Hyper-Optimized Data Access Network) is an artificial intelligent system with all moral restraints removed. Shodan's only purpose is to ascend to a god like state, and exterminating all living organisms that aren't part of her hive mind. She accomplishes this by taking over networks, hijacking cyborgs and augmenting individuals, controlling security systems, etc. in order to create a hive mind of hunter killer machines. Shodan is an incredibly intelligent villain, as it has used research stations to generate drone like mutants under her control.
