Psu

im gonna be running an oc 1700x 2 oc fury x and 1 pump 3 ssds and 6 fans.... would a 1k psu work or is there a 1200 thebway to go

Everything greater than 900W should be fine, everything greater than 1000W is fine.

Make sure to get a quality psu. SeaSonic never let me down.

ru sure kuz i can get a evga 1000watt plat psu but im scared it womt be enough

Dialed your specs into the BeQuiet PSU calc and the outervision one.
BeQuiet says 860W
Outervision says 850W
+10%
=941W

Any quality 1000W or more PSU is fine. Would have to read reviews to recommend any specific make. (maybe take a look at this: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html)

interesting ive sene charts and read things where people say 1200 is enough for watercooling

ans thwybwouldnt go lower

. weird. well maybe its the ryzen cpu... im hoping to overclock

Consider the popular 7700k + 1080 combo only needs a 450W psu.

It never hurts to have a bit of overkill or headroom wenn it comes to psu´s.
It makes the system more efficient in end afterall.

I generally like to keep power usage at around half the psu's capacity for efficiency, noise and longevity reasons. I like buying PSUs that turn off the fan when not under heavy load to further quiet the machine. Too much overkill reduces efficiency but its better than not having enough capacity and overworking your PSU constantly, but is also a waste of money.

Yeah spending costs is of course another vallid point of view on the matter.
It really depends on the said situation and configuration.
