PSU Positioning

Hello,

I've mounted my PSU in my PC so that the fan on the side of the PSU takes air from inside the case. This is because I have carpet. If I flipped my PSU so that the fan takes air from the bottom of the case, I think that the carpet would block the airflow. (Not to mention the amount of dust that would be inside of the PSU.)

Normally, I wouldn't think something like this would be an issue. However, I have two graphics cards. So my space is limited and I think it is causing them to have higher temperatures.

I heard that I could get risers for my PC so that it could be elevated from the floor. However, I looked around and I couldn't find anything that resembled what I needed. What do you guys think about this and do you have any tips?

Thanks,

A bit ghetto but get some bricks and raise it up.

What I am getting at is just about any thing that will raise it up about and inch to 2 inches will be perfect. Some wood cut to size? Books? You get the picture.
