AMD HD 6670 (GDDR5 version, will this benefit? or just got with the GDDR3 version?)
G.SKill Ripjaws (2x4) 1866 (Also read somewhere if you pair the A-10 with Patriots RAM you can benefit from RAMDisk, is it worth it?)
ADATA 256Gb SSD (Have not decided if I will put my WD 500Gb HDD in yet or not.)
Corsair H100i Water Cooler
WiFi Adapter
Optical Drive
I will be having around 4-6 120mm fans, 200mm fan (pre-installed case fan), USB mouse and keyboard, I have a SB Xfi sound card but haven't decided if I will put in new rig. I plan on OC the A-10 to the turbo speeds, gpu to at least 1000Mhz, no mem OC as i think 1866 is enough.
Now to the main reason of this thread: I currently have a 600W PSU, I have looked at several calculators and they all give me different answers, 400-600W. I have a 650W sitting in my Wishlist, I would like to know if 600W is plenty for what I have in mind for my build, or do I need to go 650W?
I reckon 600w would be good for this build. You have to sort out your priorities though.
If you're going to be using a gpu there is no need in getting the A10, get something like the 4300. Assuming you're not going to be overclocking, the h100i is not necessary. The stock cooler would be fine but if you want to go with water cooling, because it does look a lot cooler than a regular stock cooler, you can go with the H60i. The pump looks the same as the H80i and the H100i and you will also get great cooling performance!
If you decide to go with only the stock cooler though, you can and should invest in a better Gpu. Something like the 7770 or the 7850 if you can afford it. They will both offer great performance in modern games.
That PSU is definitely enough, the performance gain of the 5800k+6670 is well not as good as you might think, especially for the cost of the 6670 added on. Here check out this review and judge for yourself : http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/cpu/46157-amd-a10-5800k-dual-graphics-evaluation/
