Hey guys, I have been having seemingly random hard reboots and lockups in post these past few weeks. When gaming or under heavy load, it does just fine, but I have heard that some of the issues I've been having could be a sign of a defective PSU. I'm upgrading my motherboard soon though, because the one I have now is a bit cheap and has very limited expandability, but it may also be the culprit for my recent problems. I have had this build for 2 years, and I've only ever upgraded the CPU and it's Heatsink. The PSU is a Corsair G600 (2013 Edition). Thoughts?
could be... but I would run a test on your RAM and HDD prior to replacing anything. The thorough tests will take some time but its free and worth the look.
