so i was asembling my computer today and wen i went to hook up my gtx 670 a 12 pin card i notice my psu for pci-e wires only has a 6+2 however their is an unlabled wire that is a 6 pin could i link this wire to my graphics card. The pci-e is yellow and white striped and this one is just black

you have six 6+2 pin connectors.... just use two of the 6+2 connectors and dont connect the break away '2' pins.
also, the psu says it only has 6+2 pin connectors, not sure what your "unlabled" wire is. but hey, when in doubt... look at the wire colors. hold up a normal 6+2 pin and your mistery wire, if the yellow, red, and black cables are all in the same orientation, it would be ok to use.
What exactly do u mean orientation?

as in where the wires are. if there are +12v on top and gnd on the bottom, its ok to use.
Added questio: I went to plug in the 24 pin connector to mobo but my mobo an asus macimus v formula is 28 pin my power supply comes with the 24 and a detched 4 pin so i plugged it all in but the attached 4 pin is really loose mainly beacuse it does not have the clamp like the 24 pin so ahould i tape it in or put it is as much as possible but it will prbly come out due to fan airflow

How’s it going? I looked at your power supply and went through the details listed. For starters it comes with 6, 6+2 PCI express connectors so I don’t see what the problem is with hooking up your graphics card? Just plug 2 of the 6+2 cords into the power supply.

1 x 8-pin ATX 12V Power connector(s) 1 x CPU 8+(4+4) as per the details of the PSU
1 x 4-pin ATX 12V Power connector(s) + 4 Pin as per the detail of the PSU.
