@Even747 @BookrV @BGL Tagging you *BSD and book lovers
I would add @freqlabs but pretty sure he knows all of this already
Got that OpenBSD book but all the rest looks interesting too.
Can I suggest one change for the title? “Humble Book Bundle”.
Only because I know humble bundles for games and get the feeling that is the common thinking too. I expected games and others will for sure be way more interested in Linux and BSD books rather than games.
Only because I’m insanely difficult to deal with will I only slightly accommodate your request.
That’s cool, just might get a bit more of the appropriate attention.
Worth it for the MWL books alone
So… textbooks (at least the sciences textbooks) are usually late in that the actual contents of the book is about 5 years behind actual journal-published data… How behind are these books and how long before the knowledge therein is considered “obsolete”, generally speaking?
Not at all. That FreeBSD book is only a year or so old.
I just snatched myself a set, thx.
Got 'eem. Thanks!
